Recovering from burnout, rebuilding yourself from the ground, is not that simple and takes a long time... Burnout is a long-term extreme physical, mental and emotional fatigue
caused by excessive and prolonged overload.
It is not “in your head”, your adrenals are exhausted and therefore the problem starts in your body and affects you on all fronts. There is a “before” and an “after”, you go into burnout suddenly but it takes years to get there. Most people collapse abruptly. Too much work, too much stress, too much pressure… One day, your body switches the “off” button. In most cases, you collapse in a heap on the floor or find you are physically unable to get up in the morning. From one moment to the next, everything changes. From then on, like an empty phone battery, you cannot get started again without recharging. You find yourself unable to work, unable to perform even the simplest task, constantly exhausted. Unfortunately, unlike a mobile phone, the human body needs more than a few hours to recharge. It usually takes several months, 6 to 12 in most cases, before being able to go back to “normal” life. Your body is depleted, your adrenals are unable to function properly, you have reached complete body-mind exhaustion.

Whether you have already put some solutions in place or not, our programme is the ideal complement, it will help you put in place a more complete strategy to strenghten and improve your recovery.
You have been unable to work, are on sick leave for burnout and do not know what to do from there or what you have put in place does not seem to be enough.
You have been in burnout for several months or years or you were a few years back and are still not fully back to your usual state of energy: you are still feeling too tired, have a short attention span or difficulties memorising, aches and pain or panic attacks.
You are feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, with zero energy, a brain that does not function like it used to, you have high anxiety, your body is in pain...

We start with a one-hour online consultation with Florence. This will allow you to:
Understand what is happening exactly and where you are at.
Review what you have already tried or put in place and what is missing in your recovery strategy so that you are able to recover fully, body, mind and spirit.
Advise you on your strategy: this may imply additional appointments with other profesionals depending on what you have already done or not. A multi-therapy approach is always essential for a complete and durable recovery. We advise, you decide. We can refer you to specialist professionals we know or you can chose your own. You decide to make appointements when the time is right for you.

Sophrology is an amazing mind-body technique. It allows us to have a clear mind in a relaxed body. It is a mixture of dynamic movements, breathing techniques and mindful exercises.
